Hair Everywhere

Hair can be a contentious topic. Whether the talk is about styling it, buying more or waxing it off, we talk and think a lot about hair. Today though we’re not talking about all hair, just the hair down there. We here at Hawa have varying opinions on what is best so let’s go over some of the options and styles we feel work for us.

The Baldie

No-nonsense, meticulous. Everything must be as the day she was born (may have slight OCD). Never a hair out of place largely because there is no hair in the first place. Most likely a waxxer. May use hair removal cream.

Pros

• If you like to feel like a siamese cat then go on girl
• Neat look in a bikini
• Fresh air?

Cons

• If skin is not moisturized properly can be itchy
• Ingrown hair if removal is not done properly

Little Miss

Neat and proper. Maintains a small amount of hair but will not take it all off again after that one time she went for a wax and thought ‘this must be what childbirth feels like’. Is thought to be modest but is actually very naughty. Uses scissors or a shaver.

Pros

• Its cute
• Neat look in a bikini
• Pubic hair could prevent infection and friction

Cons

• Regular maintenance required
• Ingrown hair but this can be prevented

Shawry of the Forest

Wild and free, potentially disorganized and doesn’t care that you don’t want to listen to her rant about consumerism. She is either proud of her bush or just not bothered because she is the only one currently seeing it. Has potential to transition into a little miss but will never be a baldie. Uses the guidance of the ancestors.

Pros

• One with mother nature
• Do you even need a bikini bottom?
• Can donate merkins to the baldies

Cons

• People will keep telling you it’s unsanitary (even if it isn’t as long as you are washing properly)
• When pubic hair gets too long it can cause discomfort (have you ever felt pain when your hair got too long? We’ll talk about this on another post)
• You may eventually trip over it in the shower

Badgyal

Even wilder and free-er, loves to experiment. Always switching it up with new styles, colours and jewelry. It is a carnival down there. Uses professional glitter and colouring.

Pros

• Looks amazing
• Always entertaining, you never know what’s going to happen next

Cons

• What part of carnival did you not understand? No notes.

However you decide you wear your down-there hair, always make sure you are clean and well moisturized. Pubic hair is not dirty or unhygienic unless you make it. Wear it how you want and feel free to try out a few options before deciding what works for you, and even then you can always change your mind.
